Our fees explained

A lump sum paid as you enter your residence or within six months of entry. A fully refundable remaining balance when you leave.

A daily fee paid at set periods (usually monthly) during your time in the residence. All DAPs are non-refundable. The DAP is calculated by multiplying the applicable Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (from 1st October 2023 8.15%) by the portion of your agreed RAD amount and dividing this by 365.

Pay a percentage of an agreed amount upfront as a RAD and then pay the rest over a set period as a DAP. Flexibility to choose your RAD to DAP ratio. The higher your RAD, the lower your DAP—the Maximum Permissible Interest Rate will be applied to the DAP unpaid amount.

Access to Family Connect app for communication of what’s happening at the Home, booking of services and events and updates to Better Together Plus Services. Cost of phone line, handset rental and unlimited National phone calls. Access to Wi-Fi with unlimited data in resident rooms and in common areas. Tablets available for shared use. Support with video calls though the Family Connect App. Support provided in using technology, e.g. email and social media. Access to subscription TV (e.g. Foxtel) in common areas. Access to daily newspapers and a selection of magazines in common areas.

Breakfast available to residents any time of their choosing before 12:00pm. Breakfast served wherever the resident wants it (i.e. in their room or in the common areas). Choice of continental or cooked breakfast, made to order. Choice of two main meal options at lunch and dinner, based on a seasonal menu, with lighter options available. Choice of a selection of wine, beer, sparkling water or non-alcoholic beverages during lunch and dinner service daily. Weekly happy hour Monthly High tea Well-stocked house kitchens available for residents and visitors to access during the day (including pantry items for all day grazing). Access to espresso machine offering coffee and other hot beverages in a café environment. Reasonable private use a private dining area for your use in a part of the home of your choosing (max 4 times per year, subject to booking availability), fully set up and serviced for your use.

A minimum of one weekly social activity will be provided, including items over and above the standard care and services. These will be distinguished from regular activities by the presence of a paid external party (eg entertainer or qualified fitness instructor), or if catering or rental equipment is provided. Examples of these include:
• Pilates classes run by qualified professionals
• Facilitated cooking activities
• Visits by paid entertainers to the service (as scheduled)
• ‘Reconnect with Friends’ luncheon
• Special event functions Cost of private bus travel for organised local outings within a 10km radius of the service.
